Leaside's Newest Community-Based League
Leaside Flag Football is a community-based not-for-profit flag football league bringing affordable, well-run programming to families in Leaside. Started by lifelong Leasiders, we're building a league from the ground up centered around one simple idea: kids who have fun keep playing - so fun comes first, and everything else follows.

Every Kid Plays
No tryouts, no cuts, no benching. Every player learns and plays every week.
Easy Schedule
One session a week, Saturdays or Sundays only, built around real family schedules.

Players are grouped by age into five divisions, so every kid plays against others at a similar stage.

Leaside Flag Football is proudly based in Leaside, and welcomes players from across the surrounding neighbourhoods, no long drives, no cross-town commitments.

When does the first season start?
Our founding season launches in Spring 2027. Families who join the waitlist get priority access when registration opens.
Who can join?
LFF is open to boys and girls of all experience levels, grouped into age-appropriate divisions for fair, competitive play.
Is this contact football?
No. Leaside Flag Football is a no-contact league, designed to teach the fundamentals of football in a safe, low-pressure environment.
How often are games and practices?
Once a week, on Saturdays or Sundays only. Every session pairs a short skills practice with a league game.
Where are games played?
Games and practices are held at fields in the Leaside area, keeping travel time low for local families.
